It gives me immense pleasure to see Late Yagya Narayan Mishr SevaSamiti Regd. grow higher and higher both in strength and stature. What is surprising is that success came within a short span of just four years of its inception. At the time of its launch, we had no idea about the prospects of the society. However, we had a conviction that the mission we had embarked upon will, one day, reach to its logical conclusion. This conviction guided us through the path of success.
Four years down the line, as we recount our journey, we realise we are on the right track. The success of the soceity is the vindication of our collective conviction on the age-old axiom – jaisa karam, waisa phal (as you sow, so will you reap) – to quote Bhagvad Geeta. To start with, we took up some social work with the sole motive to serve the society we live in. We did this in response to the call of our conscience. Buoyed by initial successes, we registered ourselves as a non-government organisation (NGO) on March 20, 2013 under Societies Registration Act, 1860. Thus was born Late Yagya Narayan Mishr SevaSamiti. Ever since, there was no looking back. Over the years, we undertook one task to another in the direction of social welfare in the right earnest and carried out with dedication and perseverance. Smile on the faces of those we served servedus as the barometer of success as well as our reward. However, due to paucity of resources we could not go beyond a limit in our endeavour. In order to overcome the financial crunch, after much contemplation, we decided to invite private and public fund. After initial hiccups, there was overwhelming response to our call. The trust that we have evoked from the local people stood us in good stead.
Friends, with your wholehearted cooperation, both moral and material, we look forward to accomplish our unfinished task and make forays into unchartered territories in the field of social service. It is not possible withoutyour wholehearted support. Mind it, the social service we have undertaken is an
investment for a secure future of all.
